the UN is too busy taking their own stash of pharmecueticals and handing them out to their own members. if you dont believe me, google it. you actually believing the UN is that organized and ready to serve the world, is utterly funny. they are a highly bureaucratic organization that has to have a meeting to just decide to when to have a meeting. there is no such thing as getting rid of all "the weed". its impossible. it grows everywhere on earth. you can nuke the earth, split it in 2 and then yes, it will have finally then, be eradicated. there is also no need for Latin Americans countries to "extract" Omegas from anything for a supposed lucrative business. NBTY, Inc., the manufacturer of the most amount of vits and herbs in the world makes the highest profit margin on crap like this. they couldnt even BEGIN to compete w/that kind of wholesale/manufacturer. Lastly, you need to read up on what you are wondering about before mouthing off on stuff you know nothing about.

this is a really good article BUT, there are a few mistakes. this one really threw me for a second: "Adults, on the other hand, can survive on hemp oils just fine, so long as they have some other source of protein, which they can easily get by EATING OTHER PEOPLE." wow. i have never thought of turning that far in life to that type of "food" source to get my aminos or protein. however, the author might know something from his own experience obviously he feels is valuable to share.

I need more info on the numbing side of hemp seeds. I've been eating the shelled ones with yogurt for breakfast for a couple of months, and have noticed a curious effect in my mouth, my tongue kind of cleaving to the top of my mouth, and feeling really dry. Is this what hemp seeds do? I've just cut back on them to see if there is a change. Is this what you have found too?

You couldn't eat very many hemp seeds though, they sort of numb your mouth after a while like eating cloves.

Regarding, soy and ice cream (no reason why not to include marijuana seeds), the University of Illinois has a soybean experiments lab that I talk about here that could be of interest. I link to a recipe on how to make your own soy ice cream.
